Mariya Shmandiy
Mariya Shmandiy now calls herself a local to the Sunshine Coast since relocating from South Australia 18 months ago. She is passionate about creating strong communities and has become a fundamental voice for recognising injustice and driving solidarity across Australia in the broader community.
In 2000 she became an Australian citizen after migrating with her family from Ukraine. Mariya comes from an educated family with strong family and life values that underpin her actions, decisions, and what she stands for. Mariya believes in the importance of raising children in traditional households with a mother and father ideally and preserving the innocence of children both in the educational sector and the broader community. She stands for protecting fundamental human rights such as the right to make free medical choices, banning all forced industry mandates, as well as preserving the Constitution and the importance of holding people in positions of power accountable for their actions and words. She stands against legalised fraud and corruption both in the judicial system and unlawful and excessive policing across Australia as currently endorsed by the government and law enforcing authorities and institutions.
In 2012 she completed her Bachelor in Human Resource Management at the University of South Australia and has since worked in many reputable leadership positions and as a senior consultant across a diverse range of industries both in the public and private sectors. Mariya is dedicated to helping people find employment and their career pathways, especially migrants and people with limited opportunities, as well as creating simple, practical solutions in the workplace. She is a doer by nature and stands by her words.
Over the last few years, she has been a fundamental part in creating community groups and campaigns in support of having a voice for informed choice and against tyrannical and unlawful decisions enforced by a two-tier government.
In her spare time, Mariya is very involved within the community and regularly participates and presents at free community events, workshops, and sporting events being a fond basketball enthusiast, and helps to rescue and home homeless and mistreated animals.
Mariya is not seeking power for herself, but she is seeking to bring back the Power 2 People! It’s finally time to turn words into actions rather than leading misleading slogan campaigns.
